Which pier does the NCL Dawn dock at in Cozumel?

Punta Langosta or the downtown pier. It is right across the street from Carlos & Charlies.

What might be the reason for renting a car? Taxi's are cheap and quite plentiful and everywhere. Be that as it may, I would at least have a reservation and not rely on availability when you arrive.

 

As per ship's tendering, in my years of cruising to Cozumel I have only tendered once and that was aboard the Norway.

Completely agree. No problem finding a cheap taxi ride.

 

Also, I have read a couple of horror stories of folks that had minor fender benders with their rental car in Cozumel and being expected to come up with the funds to pay a traffic fine and to fix the vehile on the spot. Or not be allowed to get back on the ship. The stories were frightening.
