Costumes on pirate night?

We are going on a 7 night cruise and a few years ago I made my husband a fancy pirate captain costume with a velor jacket, fancy hat and all. And me a wench costume. Can we bring them to wear or not? I love any excuse to dress up in my costumes. As I spent alot of time on them. I even wear them just answering the door on halloween. Will we be allowed to wear them and will other people be dressed up too?

Sure dress up. We have done the 7 night cruise a few times and since I too love to get in to costume I convince my family to join me in the fun. Just be aware that the number of people who dress up may vary so it depends on how you feel about the extra attention.

Also keep track of when characters will be available for photos on pirate night as thy are dressed for the part as well as there being a special photo session with Jack Sparrow.

If you notice our photos, the special photo session with Jack Sparrow was taken right ouside the Walt Disney Theater on Pirate Night. Check the Navigator for times and location. We got in line 15 minutes before scheduled time and by 8PM, the line was very long.

both adults and children are allowed to wear “family friendly” costumes to these fun parties – in fact, this is the only time that adults are allowed to wear costumes into a theme park. Florida can be hot and humid so select costumes that will be comfortable and allows you to move freely. You may not wear masks or head pieces that obstruct your vision. Adults who dress in realistic looking Disney character costumes are not allowed to pose for photos or sign autographs or do anything to imply that you are a Disney employee; doing so can cause you to be escorted from the park. You are not required to wear a costume to the party.......
