To anyone who might be interested, I just changed my booking on the 2/7/10 four night Bahamas cruise on the Wonder. I went down a category to Cat. 5 in order to get a see thru regular balcony. I had a DELUXE Family stateroom with verandah (Cat 4) and I went to a REGULAR Family Stateroom with verandah since I was assigned a solid white wall verandah with my Cat 4 room. I was told Cat 4 was sold out, they had nothing else to offer me in Cat 4. Interestingly enough I asked about going UP to a Cat 3 and they told me those were sold out as well. So I lost a little cabin space (went from 304 sq feet to 268) but for me, it was ALLLLL about the balcony. I did NOT want to be in a cabin with a solid white wall verandah and basically the odds were against anything opening up at this point that was a regular balcony.
