How far to municipal airstrip?

We are thinking of taking Tropic Air to Caye Caulker. How far is it from the tourist village where the tenders leave you off to the airstrip?

I don't remember exactly, but I do remember it is pretty close, like 5 minutes or so. Make sure your taxi driver knows that you want the Municipal Airport and not the International Airport which is much farther away.

Yes it is 5-15 min ride depending on traffic. Make sure the price is set before you get in. the price of a taxi around Belize city is 10BZ. but to the international airport it is 25us... Not sure what will be charged going from the ship to Municipal airstrip. If you chose to fly make sure you pre book a flight. Tropic has a flight every hour.
