Burkwood4 Posted January 11, 2010 #1 Share Posted January 11, 2010 First-time cruisers and first-time in Barbados. Supposed to meet a group at Gate 1 at cruise terminal. Are there very many gates with a great distance between them? We only have 30-45 minutes from scheduled arrival time to the scheduled meeting time, is this enough time or will we probably miss our group? Starting to freak out about scheduling. Would appreciate any and all advice or comments.
rjscott Posted January 11, 2010 #2 Share Posted January 11, 2010 Don't panic, you'll have plenty of time. When you disembark your ship, you'll board a shuttle bus to the cruise terminal. Because the port is also very industrial, they don't want passengers walking around the busy area, so they shuttle passengers from the ships to the terminal. This process only takes about 10 minutes from the time you'll board the bus to the time you'll arrive at the terminal. Then you'll walk thru the terminal, and there will be signs to the gates. If you get confused, just ask an agent, they are very helpful and will direct you to where you need to be. Have a great cruise!
