cruise december copenhagen sea conditions?

can anybody advise sea conditions in December, Dover to Copenhagen/Hamberg/Amsterdam/Dover.

There is never a guaranteed sea state,but as the North Sea is quite a shallow sea,waves can build up quickly and weather conditions in winter can be very unpredictable at sea,so you can assume that a cruise across the North Sea could be a little bumpy.;)

We did the Christmas market cruise in Dec 2009 and the sea was nice a calm, in fact we have had rougher seas in the Med in July

I have done this Christmas Markets cruise since it started on Aurora and mostly the sea for that time of year has been kind,except last years,it was horrendous ,not a day I ever want to repeat and I,ve been through some bad weather including a hurricane.

 

However I shall be with Balmoral this year doing her markets cruise, so you see it hasn,t put me off.:)

Have decided to go on the Destiny in Sept. There again might just do both.
