Zip lining

Whats the best option for a zip lining excursion. Is it worth booking the Canopy tour through Carnival, or trying to book one privately? Has anyone experienced anything negative when not booking with the cruiselines? Thanks.

We live here in PR and have (obviously) booked directly with 5 different zipline-related excursions with no problems.

 

The issue you may run into is that that if you decide to book with the same operator that your cruise line uses, they may not accept your direct reservation ... citing contract issues with the cruise line.

 

And there's the issue (and added expense) of arranging your own transportation from the ship to the forest.
