Unhappy with Sea Miles

I'm very disappointed with the Sea Miles program. I called them today and I was told the only way to redeem my points is to book my cruise with them. I am very loyal to my travel agent and I'm going to cancel this card. Why does Carnival keep changing the credit card companies that they deal with?? Does anyone else feel the same way?

Are you talking about the new company taking over? I have used my points towards 3 cruises without any hassels with Capital One. I need to decide what I want to do with the balance of my points. I tried to call the new company and could not get throught. Carnival didn't know what to tell me. They said a letter would come in 6 weeks or so. I wish Carnival would stay with one company to. Carla
