Activities for 12 year old boys?

What kind of activities exists for 12 year boys? We're thinking of using a walkie-talkie system to keep in touch. Has anyone tried that?

I know that he can use the Flow Rider, the basketball court and other sporting facilities, but I'm wondering about the planned events for his age group, where he would go on his own.

We are headed aboard on Feb. 6th with our nearly 12 year old. He will turn 12 on Feb. 20th. I'll try to remember to post here when we get back to let you know what he did. . .

If he's anything like most 12 year old boys, if all else fails he can do what 12 year old boys do best. Oggle the girls in bikinis by the pools. Lol. Sorry. I couldn't help myself.

 

Seriously though, I remember having a blast as a kid around that age on a couple of cruises. If I remember, I was so busy with the Adventure Ocean type activities that I really only saw my parents in between a few of the activities and at dinner time. I'm sure he will have a great time.
