My girlfriend, Hayley, and I will be going on the Triumph 29 March. She has never been on a cruise (only done land-based all-inclusives) and is a little skeptical about it. She has tasked me to provide her with a little piece of information about the cruise each day, until we leave. It is just a game, but she sees how excited I am to take her and this just directs my energy towards something "productive"...lol.

 

So, today's information is on Drinks of the Day. What was your favorite and please describe it to me :).

I'll bail you out so you can feel productive today :D There are only a few drinks of the day that I like. Many of them I find much too sweet...but I like the:

 

Funship Special (generally served on embarkation day)

1 fl oz Vodka

1 1/2 fl oz Light Rum

1/4 fl oz Apricot Brandy

1/4 fl oz Amaretto

6 fl ozs Fruit Punch (Tampico is the closest to Carnival's)

Blend all ingredients together, pour over ice and garnish with orange slice and cherry

 

Blue Margarita (I believe this is a drink of the day but I'm not positive)

1 oz Tequila

1/4 oz Triple Sec

1/4 oz Blue Curacao

3 oz sweet & sour mix

Add ingredients and ice to blender and blend until smooth. You can also have this on the rocks too.
