wx@sea Posted January 23, 2010 #26 Share Posted January 23, 2010 I love sailing out of San Juan and seeing the fort & old city walls illuminated at night. San Juan is also pretty easy to get around with respect to the airport and pier. San Diego is one of the my favorite larger cities in the United States. It is attractive and I don't think I've ever been to a large city were the pier...airport...main hotel zone...and downtown were so close together and easy to navigate. jackdiamond Posted January 23, 2010 #27 Share Posted January 23, 2010 I agree with Andy. In March we will be in a mini suite, port side on the Ruby; and, in October we will be in D-1 on the stern of the Radiance. Both of these locations are great for waving to those nice folks, without having to leave the balcony. In December, we will be in a CC-1, on the Penthouse deck of the Constellation, but on the starboard side; hence, we will have to adjust.
mamadot Posted January 24, 2010 #28 Share Posted January 24, 2010 San Diego must be because of the access to airport and port as well as the beautiful harbor. Little Italy is another plus with all the good restaurants in the area! Must say love going under the bridge in San Francisco!!:D
runnerodb83 Posted January 31, 2010 #29 Share Posted January 31, 2010 Sailing from Seattle is great. Whether you are the downtown pier where X and NCL dock or the northern piers where princess and HAL dock.
