Private tour/charter to Caye Caulker for the day?

World Gallery

Recommended Posts

After reading all of the options (water taxis, Coral Breezes) for getting to Caye Caulker, we realize that maybe we should look into a private charter. Coral Breezes won't take reservations from NCL passengers for Caye Caulker because they say the tendering is too slow and you get a late start, the public water taxi limits your time there because of their set schedule, so we just realized that a private charter may work. We are a family of 8. Has anyone ever done a private boat? Any feedback? We would like to go in the morning, spend the day, then come back in time for the last tender.

Thanks

You could check out raggamuffin sailing tours or Carlos Tours. They are both located on Caye Caulker and have very good reviews over on tripadvisor. Both tours seem reasonably priced ($45/pp) but their standard tours seem to be get back a little later than you'd want (that's my situation). Perhaps with your group of 8, you'd be able to arrange a private charter with one of them.
