Alaska in August, best Kid line?

We are planning a family reunion cruise to Alaska in August. There will be 7 kids, the youngest 8 and oldest 14. Which would be the best cruise line to entertain the kids?

We just booked 9/22 on the Pearl r/t from Seattle. The itinirary is good as it is one of the few ships that goes to Glacier Bay. Plus, my 8 year old will be on board for yours to play with!! :rolleyes:

Carnival Cruise line or Disney.

Disney won't cruise Alaska until 2011, plus their prices are outrageous, and they don't go to either Glacier Bay or Hubbard Glacier. I wouldn't recommend Carnival for kids that age either.

 

Try RCCL or Princess. Princess has better itineraries, especially on a southbound cruise, but higher prices. The Alaska boards have a wealth of information about the cruises there.

We really like the freestyle cruising on NCL. We were going to branch out and go back to RCCL or try Princess for our cruise to Alaska this August. Our kids will be 15 and 12 when we sail.

 

After looking at itin., price, airfare, and accomodations we decided to book the NCL Pearl. We are really looking forward to Glacier Bay since the Pearl makes a trip there and many of the others leaving out of Seattle do not.
