scubagirrl Posted January 23, 2010 #2 Share Posted January 23, 2010 All we want to do is ride the waterslides in Atlantis. How and where do I look for tickets cheaper than what the ship sells them for? They are available at the kiosks at Atlantis, in the marina village and the royal tower/casino. The cost is $110 pp/ $80 for children. They are first come first serve, based on occupancy. So there's a small chance that they will not be available during busy season. You can also book a room at the Atlantis or Comfort suites for the day, The room rate is for 2 ppl, to a max of 4 ppl per room. Rates do not include 12% tax plus other fees and surchards. Here's the add'l charges for a room at the comfort Suites. Energy surcharge: 12.95 per adult per night. Housekeeping gratuities: 5.00 per person per night for guests 12 years and older including extra persons. These are additional charges not included in nightly estimated total and must be paid directly at the hotel. Persons 16 and older are charged as adults. 3rd/4th adults in room are chgd 40.00 per night+tax and service charges.

carly chloe Posted January 24, 2010 #4 Share Posted January 24, 2010 We are going late in Aug. The Comfort Inn is WAY more expensive than the passes since our 2 children are 16. Does the Atlantis charge all those other charges? How busy do you think it will be this time of the year to get day passes? Thanks.

Some site include the main taxes 12% , but you pay the surcharges when you arrive. Others do not. I beleive if you book directly with Atlantis, the charges are included in your final price. (not the room rate). Late August whould be fine, unless they are having a special event.

comeon530 Posted January 25, 2010 #9 Share Posted January 25, 2010 My husband said that it was way too fast to see anything. He said he tried to keep his eyes open but couldn't.

When we went through the rafts went really slow, there were sharks laying all across the top of the glass. It was really cool.
