Getting a taxi from Ft. Lauderdale Airport to Port Everglades

How much is a taxi from Ft. Lauderdale airport to Port Everglades and is it easy to get one? My friends are worried they are going to get ripped off and get driven all over town since their out of towners. I need some back-up to resasure them.

The cost will be minimal since you can see the port and probably your ship from the airport. It's less than a 10 minute drive.

Hi! NosnoBunny got it exactly right. You can practically see the cruise ships from the airport. Just get in the cab, and apologize for asking the driver to take you on such a short run, and you'll be just fine. (That way he'll think you know exactly where you're going!)
