Embarkation and Zones

Does anyone know how the zones are assigned during embarkation? Is by class of cabin? First come, first serve? Just curious. Thanks!

Platinum, VIP and wedding parties are assigned zone 1. After that it's a question of when you arrive at the terminal...

everyone gets in line.. no matter what zone/deck you are in..only high level cruisers will be afforder priority embarkation... high level meaning how many past cruises with that line they have already, or weddings also get priority embarkation, some cruise lines offer the pax that have booked owners suites and such priority embarkation as well...
