medicgirl05 Posted February 1, 2010 #1 Share Posted February 1, 2010 Can someone tell me how dinner works on Disney Wonder. Do we have to do a formal sit down dinner or is there a casual buffet we can go to?
mom x4,grandma x4 Posted February 1, 2010 #2 Share Posted February 1, 2010 On the 3 day Wonder there is a nice dress night, not necessarily formal night. They did have a simple sit down dinner in the buffet the 2nd night of the 3 day cruise at 6:30 to 8:30 and it was closed the other 2 nights. There is also food around the pool areas and room service is free although a tip is appropriate. We usually go to the drink station on deck 9 for free pop while the other person would order room service . Pop with room service is not free but the food is free. But if dressing up is whats stopping you from going to nice dress dinner, please dont let that stop you. I hate to dress up formal. I just wear a skirt and top and never flet out of place. Hubby wore a nice shirt and slacks and we fit in perfect. Most dont bother to dress up really nice. The Wonder is very informal.
medicgirl05 Posted February 1, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted February 1, 2010 Thanks for the information. Its not the dressing up part. We've done Royal before and we had the option of a buffet style dinner instead of the formal sit down dinner. We will be traveling with a 15 month old and figured the buffet might be the better option for us.

If anyone knows how to deal with infants at dinner it's Disney and most of the fellow passengers will understand if your little one is fussy. We even ended up with our little one in a stiller the first night as he fell asleep just before dinner.
