markmdavis Posted February 2, 2010 #1 Share Posted February 2, 2010 My wife and I are starting to plan a cruise and I would love to hear your suggestions on which Cruise line we should consider including which ship and itinerary. First a bit of info about us. We are both thirty and will be celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary in June. My wife has been on two cruises before (both 3 nighters, L.A. – Baja kinda of cruises) This will be my first Cruise. We have really enjoyed our all inclusive vacations to Mexico and Jamaica in the past. We are looking for a ship that will not be too overcrowded with kids, or at least has some kind of quite adults only place / places. We are also looking for a ship that has good food (lobster!) does that exist on ships? Do any cruise lines serve lobster in their main dinning room? We would also like a good room service menu . And an itinerary that is between 5-8 nights that goes to somewhere other then JUST Mexico, but we are not apposed to a stop there. Thanks Mark

Sheffie Posted February 3, 2010 #3 Share Posted February 3, 2010 Last June we cruised out of San Juan for a Southern Cruise. We loved it. The weather was good, and was not too hot. There aren't too many ships sailing the Southern in June as a lot have gone either to Alaska or Europe. It shouldn't be too hard to find those that are sailing. I suggest to go to one of the big on-line travel agency sites to see what is available, or go to a brick and mortar TA. I have have never been on less than a 7 day cruise, and cannot imagine doing so. I would love to go on a longer cruise, but haven't had the opportunity as of yet. Have fun deciding!!!
