SeaBlu Posted February 7, 2010 #1 Share Posted February 7, 2010 I apologize if this question has been asked and answered before. I did do a search but was not able to find an answer. My DH and I have not yet sailed on the Solstice but we have booked 2 AQ staterooms for June. It will be my DH and I and our granddaughter and grandson. Is there a doorway on the divider out on the balcony? Can it be fixed so that it will stay open? Thank you one and all that assist me with this question! We are truly looking forward to this special time with our special grandchildren. Their Dad is a Naval Officer and they have lived all over the world, very seldom near us - unfortunately! vindex Posted February 7, 2010 #2 Share Posted February 7, 2010 The balcony divider is a door which is locked closed normally. Upon request your cabin attendant will open it for you and lock it in that position.

larkwind Posted February 8, 2010 #7 Share Posted February 8, 2010 We have three sequential mid-hump cabins on the Solstice in March. Two of the cabins are adjoining. I expect that the divider between those two can be opened but does anyone know if the third room's divider can also be opened to the two? That would be handy for visiting with all our kids. Thanks, hyslagirl, for the photo!
Ma Bell Posted February 8, 2010 #8 Share Posted February 8, 2010 Yes, the balcony doors can be opened even if the cabins do not connect.
