Alaska RR arrival destination in Achorage?

We're planning on staying 2 extra nightw in Seward after HAL Ryndam cruise. If we take the 6PM departure train from Seward it arrives at 10:15PM in Anchorage. Is the station in Anchorage at the airport? If not, time/cost for transport. We have a 1:55AM flight, will that be an issue? Thanks

The station is in downtown Anchorage but you should have no problems getting a cab to the airport. It's a 15-20 trip from the depot.

I would call AKRR to ask how often they have arrive on time. Its a beautiful train ride, and the extended daylight is wonderful. Both terminals are small (North / South) so pending the airlines and TSA, if you are at the airport by 11:30pm, you should be fine. The delay is going through TSA from my experience, but then again, i've had darling hubby come to pick me up at the train station - and those times they were always late by 45 minutes or so... (stopping for animals on tracks, stopping for views, etc...).. These aren't commuter trains that keep to the schedule. :)
