We want to see both Atlantis and shop in Lucaya. The ship docks at 7 AM and we have to be back on board at 4. Any suggestions on the best way to see both areas in the time alloted ? Also would like to know what to expect in taxi fares. Thanks in advance !! :)

The straw market is in Nassau and you would have time to go shopping there and go to Atlantis and look around. When you get off the ship and go through the Festival house, turn right and walk along Woodes Rodgers Walk, you will go about 3-4 blocks and you will be in front of the straw market. There is also a lot of shops along Bay Street. Quick walk from the Prince George Wharf where the ships dock. http://maps.google.com/maps?ie=UTF8&q=map+of+nassau&fb=1&gl=us&ei=3YdxS9ilBKOKNd6f8ZYG&ved=0CBkQpQY&hl=en&view=map&geocode=FY96fgEdb-Zj-w&split=0&iwloc=A&sa=X is a link to google maps, you can zoom in and look at the satellite view and see the roof of the straw market. (light colored large). Then you would need to walk back to the Festival house area to catch a taxi to Paradise Island and Atlantis. They will drop you off right at the door, and when you are ready to leave there is always taxis out front of Atlantis to take you back to the port. I would say the taxi ride was 15 minutes max from Atlantis and the Port. You could also take the water taxi for around $3 pp, but there is a little walk up to Atlantis from the drop off point.

I hope this helps, if you have another question I will try to help you out.
