newbie2010 Posted February 9, 2010 #1 Share Posted February 9, 2010 Has anyone done the Sierra Madre Hiking Exploration in Puerto Vallarta? We're going to PV via Royal Caribbean during the week of March 14 and this is one of the shore excursions (offered by the ship) that we're considering. It's only $24, which seems pretty cheap for a shore excursion offered by the ship. We love hiking and we wanted to do something different than doing the city tour. The description says, "Travel 45 minutes South of town to the beautiful jungle setting of "Nogalito," nestled into the foothills of the Sierra Madre mountains." If any of you have gone on a similar hiking excursion, what were the pros and cons? Let me know if it's worth going or if there are better options. Thanks.
