Hi:

 

We were booked on a VH guarantee for our 14 day collectors cruise, but panicked when we checked an online TA site that showed only one SZ available....so we upgraded without an upsell offer. Did we blow it? We just loved our SS on our last cruise and didn't want to take the chance that we would end up in a shower only VH. We still have a GTY, but at least now we know that we will have the larger cabin, with the tub and shower, and whatever we end up with will be better than what we had booked before, right?

We did this on the Westerdam in November. We booked an SZ guarantee and ended up with an SY. It was great! You did the right thing - absolutely!
