Carry on all Luggage

In nov this year in Miami we got in late! An hr before sailing. Instead of giving luggage to potter we sak them could we take all on ourself and they said sure. We are going on the Victory next week has anyone else

done this. With all the new rules on luggage not sure. It was really very easy and did have to worry when it would come or get lost.Thanks:rolleyes:

You can carry on your luggage at all the ports it it meets the size limits.

When we went on our first cruise we only checked one bag - the big one that had soft drinks and other items that weren't necessary. We each had one small suitcase that we carried on with a hanging garment bag.

Even in light of that I have taken full size bags as carry ons... On short two or thee day cruises there often is no porter service and therefore no way to check bags...

On the first time, because you were late, I'm guessing you were able to go directly to your cabin with your luggage? That might not be the case if you board earlier..often the cabins aren't ready until 1 o'clock or later. This would mean you'd have to be lugging around your luggage until then.
