Fortuna-Busted for Booze

Just did the 31 Jan sailng on Fortuna from FLL. I had 1 bottle of Rum in my checked luggage and made it to my cabin no problem. My roomate had 1 bottle of Bourbon and 1 bottle of Vodka in his checked luggage. Busted! He had to come to security to claim his luggage. Somehow they let him keep the Bourbon and delivered the vodka to our cabin the last morning.

My group was on the same sailing. We successfully smuggled 2 12 packs of soda and 3 boxes of wine (classy, I know). We were also able to carry on 6 packs of local beer from our port excursions with no problem.

Busted??? I know I will get flamed for this.... I brought aboard sixty two (62) 16 oz cans of beer on my carry on. Never got busted and they were always on ice!
