SOS Questions.

After the SOS referb I've been reading tons of negative feedback from critics here. This will be our groups first cruise and I'm very concerned we won't have a good time. When we booked our cruise there were 2 movie theatres, now there are none? What else has been replaced? I'm just looking at what to expect. Don't want to get an earfull from my group if things go wrong! ;)

I haven't sailed yet but it seems they've made numerous upgrades judging from the reviews and the information here on this forum. The movie theaters are gone but they have expanded areas for youngsters, more dining options, balconies available, refurbished public areas, a rock wall, etc.

 

It's hard to list everything but if you read the reviews available from the link at the top of this page & do a search on Sovereign on this forum, you'll find tons of information. And, if your group flames you for lack of movie theaters while on a cruise, tell them to stay home & go to the mall to see a movie next time :)

I have been following the threads about the refurbished Sovereign. From what I gather, the first cruise or two after dry dock weren't that great. But now, everything seems to be great! I have read lots of reviews of people just back and they had good things to say.

 

I am sad the movie theaters are gone, but they did expand the teen area. I have a 13 yo, so I am glad about that.

Why would anyone go to a movie when they could rock climb?! ;)
