Negril beach experience at magaritaville w/lunch

This will be our first cruise and excursion. We are leaning toward's this excursion thru Carnival. Has anyone else done this one?

 

Bring your swimsuit for a day of fun at the world famous Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville on Negril's 7-mile stretch of white sand and beach.

On this excursion you will:

  • Departing Montego Bay, you will enjoy a scenic drive along the North Coast.
  • Passing through several rural villages and small towns such as Hopewell and Sandy Bay.
  • Some of the sights along the way include the famous Round Hill and Tryall Hotels where international stars visit from time to time and well as Tryall Golf Course Tournaments.
  • Continuing along the coast, you will drive past Lucea, a very old England town, and Green Island, so named because of it's lush vegetation.
  • Once in Negril, you will see Jamaica’s longest strip of white sand beach, known as Jamaican White Gold, and said to be one of the best beaches in the world.
  • Laze on the beach, take a stroll, or take a refreshing dip in the Caribbean Sea.
  • Enjoy the amenities of Margaritaville, including a giant water trampoline, all day music, and lunch.
  • After a memorable day at the beach, you will stop at Times Square for shopping en route back to Montego Bay.

Note: Lunch is included (fruit punch and choice of jerk chicken, rice, salad; veggie burger; or cheese pizza). A swimsuit, beach towel,hat, sunscreen and sunglasses are recommended. The drive to/from Negril is approximately 75 minutes.
