hawkshoe Posted February 19, 2010 #2 Share Posted February 19, 2010 We went to Dunn's River Falls and Reggae Beach. I highly recommend both.
kinseykin Posted February 21, 2010 #3 Share Posted February 21, 2010 If you are going to Ocho Rios book a private tour with Peat Taylor. http://www.ochoriosjamaicatours.com/ He has many options to take. We did Dunn;s river falls , there were seven of us. Four climbed and the rest watched and went into the pools as we walked down the path. Then we toursed the rain forest (Fern Gully) and stopped at a kindergarden school were the kids sang to us and we got to talk to them a little. Then Peat Jr took us to a local place were we had Curried Goat and the best fried chicken ever. It was 43 USD for 7 of us and the fruit punch was ausome!. Then we wanted to go shopping. Peat would of taken us were ever we wanted to go and stop whenever we wanted. It was 25 USD per person (we paid our own Admission to Dunn's river) and was the best experience ever. texasnana Posted February 21, 2010 #4 Share Posted February 21, 2010 We did the 4x4 trip in Jan. You go way out of town and into the mountains go thru an orange grove. Our guide stopped and peeled us oranges. They take you to the river you swim and then go back 4x4 and touring. We had so much fun. We have done the falls and also a float trip on a raft before. Travgurl - Where are they going? This helps with advice. Mo' Bay and Ocho Rios are two of the more popular spots, Falmouth will be put in the rotation soon.
