Setting up S&S online?

Do people do this often and how does it work? I am thinking about setting up our S&S online so we have money already on there when we get on the ship. If we do this and use our debit card, when it reaches the amount we put on it, can we then just go and put cash if we need more?

I assume that you mean that you would like to add cash to your S&S account before you cruise?

If that's the case, you can call the Carnival Bon Voyage Department at 800-906-7603 and tell them that you would like to add money as On Board Credit. You can do this with a debit or credit card.

Request an email confirmation of your purchase. Print the confirmation and bring it along as proof in the event something falls through the cracks at their end.

If you use a debit card to ESTABLISH your account they will continue to bill to it, the final sum being billed the final night of your voyage.

If you use cash they will notify you that you're nearing the amount you've added giving an opportunity to replenish the account.
