Tipping cost for 5 night cruise?

Carnival charges automatically $10PPPD for tips. No problem with that.

 

So for a 5 night cruise, do they charge this for 5 days, or because one is on the ship on 6 calendar days, do they charge for 6 days worth of tips?

 

Hopefully it's just the 5 days worth. It would be kind of slimy of them to charge on the departure day for departing guests whilst on the very same date, charge the tipping fee on the arrival date of new guests.

Five day cruise so you pay $ 50 in tips per person if you use the suggested amount.

It's 10.00 a day for 5 days......or nights as they are listed.

 

7 nighter would be 7 "days" for the gratuity, etc.
