Open Bar & wine card on Dream?

We just got off the Dream on Saturday and a couple we were traveling with said they met a gentleman with a white "Open Bar & Wine" card. Reportedly, he was traveleing with a large group that paid an additional $300/person for this option. I thought this was extinct. Does anyone have information for this mythical program?:cool:

Not mythical.

You have to be part of a group and everyone in the group

must purchase the option. I am not sure of the number in the group.

There must be at least 30 people in the group and everyone HAS to purchase the open bar card. I believe it is $55 per day in 2010 (ex.: 4 day cruise $220 per person)

yep..this is correct....a seven day is $385.....they apparentley watch these cardholders close...if one person gets caught providing drinks to non cardholders, ive heard they shut off everyone in the group....wouldnt it suck to be that guy???

I am a (soon-to-be) first time cruiser and after reading these boards am thinking I need to find a "crew" LOL

 

Or heck, I can start my own... call it the Totally Cool Kick Ass Drama Free gang. :P

I wish that sort of thing was researchable...trust me, ive tried.....getting at least 30 people together to do that aint as easy as it sounds

Silly question but do you have know the whole group? Could a person try to find 30 people for this group?
