comoxvalley21 Posted March 2, 2010 #1 Share Posted March 2, 2010 We're taking a cruise to the Baltics this summer. We usually like to bring back food souvenirs....any suggestions for must-have purchases form Russia, Sweden, Denmark or Finland? Thanks

RetiredFL Posted March 12, 2010 #4 Share Posted March 12, 2010 Be careful. A lot of Russian Vodka, etc is "rotgut" meant for the local market. If you are with a guide ask for recommendations but good vodka will not cost much less than the states. That being said, we did buy local premium brands, not available in the states, and did enjoy them. Just don't buy the $3 bottles and think you are getting something great. I suspect the same hold true for caviar and I am not sure you can bring it back to the states.
