runningradical Posted March 3, 2010 #2 Share Posted March 3, 2010 We were in the Caymans the week of February 7th on the Carnival Legend. We also decided we would book once we got to shore. There is a lot of choices on shore all we wanted was a sight seeing tour. Just a FYI the tours leave when they are full we waited for fourty minutes and our tour was still not full so I started asking around and I found out the tours leave when they are full by where Carnival tenders. My husband and I decided to walk further away from where Carnival tendered and we found a man giving tours we asked how soon because we didn't want to waste more time and he said he had a little van and he only needed to find four more people which he did quite quickly. We were waiting for a small bus to fill up by the tender area. He charged us twenty dollars per person and it was a good tour. If you find something you would want to do I would book ahead to avoid the wait for a tour bus to fill up.
bballmomma Posted March 3, 2010 #3 Share Posted March 3, 2010 We did a tour through Capt. Marvin's last time we were in GC and loved it. Half day snorkle and stingray on a nice boat. There were 10 of us family and maybe 5 others. We booked ahead of time but its not a far walk from the port to their office. Depending on how full they are, you may be able to walk in and book a tour. I think its only $5/pp. extra if you don't reserve in advance.
