Latest Internet Access/Rates for Constellation?

Sailing 1/29. Can one trust leaving a laptop in one's cabin? Is laptop usage allowed in the cabins, or do you have to use the ship's computers?

From the Celebrity@Sea site:

 

Guests will be able to access the internet 24-7 at the I-Cafe, or at scheduled times in the computer lab for a fee of $0.75 per minute. Guests aboard the Millennium-class ships will also be able to connect their personal laptops to the internet from their stateroom. Wireless access is available in the Rendezvous Square on Century-class ships.

 

Guests can access the internet from their staterooms on Millennium class ships by renting a Connect@Sea Kit. Ask the Online@Celebrity staff for more details

 

All Century class ships have WiFi hotspots in Michael's Club and Rendez-vous Square. Wireless cards are available for rent if you do not already have one. Please stop by the Computer Center on Deck 6 to learn how to get your personal laptop connected. The same internet rates apply.

It was 75 cents a minute in December. or a flat $2 per e-mail (per address sent to)

The .75/min is for using the ship's equipment. I'm talking about using one's laptop in one's cabin. I checked the Celebrity@Sea website and it doesn't address this issue in any detail.

Well the C class hot spots are .75 so I would think the M class would do the same for the cabin kits.

At our stop in Antiqua I found an internet cafe very close to port - $3 for 15 minutes. If they would lower the prices onboard I think they would make more money.
