Avoid the El palacio in Miami

This hotel was condemned before it was "fixed up". In my opinion they should have tore it down. The rooms smelled like wet dog and mildew. The bathtubs looked like something out of a horror movie (looked blood stained). Apparently they do not know what Mildew Remover is cause the grout in the showers where black. We changed rooms 3 times. By the time we decided that we saw the 2nd room they were going to stick us in we went down and told them that we wanted to see their available rooms and decide for ourselves. We looked at 8 rooms. One was bearable for the night. The other ones had stuff that resembled feces on the wall and smells that were indescribable. DO NOT STAY IN THIS PLACE. We only stayed the night because it was too late to drive thru Miami and find another hotel.
