Any other moms who are going solo or with friends?

I am taking my first 7 nt cruise without my husband and child on 3/28 (Carnival). I was wondering if there are other moms out there who have done this. I don't feel guilty (not yet, anyway), but I am worried that I will miss them too much. I really just need to get away from it ALL and am looking for the time to recharge. My husband has different vacation days, so that is why I will be cruising with just my niece. My husband is a wonderful dad, so I'm not worried about that part. I'm hoping someone will tell me that it IS possible for me to have a good time without feeling bad about leaving my hubby and child.

I went on a 5 day cruise with my sister and niece. I left my hubby and kids at home. We had a great time. I missed them at times but it was great to just do girl stuff. Have fun!!!

I have 4 kids & I just went on my 1st & 2nd (!!!) solo cruises ... Nov '09 & Jan '10! It was wonderful & a great getaway from it all. Have fun but do be careful w/ all the flirtatious crew who quickly figure out that you're not travelling w/ a man ;).
