shh Posted March 13, 2010 #1 Share Posted March 13, 2010 How do travel insurance policies view snorkeling? I know some say recreational swimming is allowed, does this count? Anyone?

Why don't you give one of them a call and ask (we use TravelGuard, for example)? That is probably your best bet for accurate information. They could probably reference their "Description of Coverage" documentation.
MrCo9 Posted March 13, 2010 #3 Share Posted March 13, 2010 Snorkeling is nothing more than swimming with a mask that allows you to see what is under you. If anything they should give you a discount for snorkeling. A swimmer may step on an urchin, but a snorkler will see it and avoid stepping on the spiny little guy.
