Has anyone used RCI onboard baby-sitting?

We are tossing this idea around to possibly go to dinner alone a couple nights. It says on their website it is available in a group setting or in stateroom.

Where do they do the "group setting?" If you do in room before the child goes to sleep does anyone know what they do to entertain the child??

Have you felt comfortable leaving your child alone in the stateroom with a stranger?????????

If we use it it will just be a couple hours and probably close to or after bedtime... but I was wondering if anyone has exeriences to share?

The group setting is in the Adventure Ocean area, and to my knowledge, it is for ages 3 and up as an after-hours extension of the AO program (usually from 10 pm to 1 am). If you do a search of this board, you'll come up with several positive reviews of RCCL in-room babysitting.

In room babysitting is available - in your cabin - from 8 a.m. to 2 a.m. It's available on a first come first served basis upon sign up at Guest Services. I used it two years ago on Adventure of the Seas and was pleased.

Our kids have not been old enough to go to AO so we have used it on every cruise. No problems, always loved it. Planning on using it again if we need to.
