BGCruiser85 Posted March 19, 2010 #1 Share Posted March 19, 2010 Hey all, Just got back from the Navigator last weekend and thought I'd post a note with some info for all that will be sailing on her in the near future. Below are some items that I was interested in before I left but never could find many of the answers to: The cruise we were on was 5 nights with stops in Cozumel and Belize: Shows for the week Day 1 - Jeff Jena - Welcome aboard show. Very funny comedian! Day 2 - RCI singers & dancers - Ballroom Fever Day 3 - The Nelson Brothers (Ricky Nelson Remebered) Great show! Day 4 - RCI singers & dancers - All Access - Rock & Pop show. Day 5 - Magician / Comedian Christopher James - Great fun! - Ice shows take place on Day 1 @ 915 PM, Day 2 & Day 5 @ 5 PM - Sail Away Parade on Royal Promenade on Day 1 at 11 PM - Captain's Reception on Day 2 at 730 PM - Late Night Comedy with Jeff Jena at Midnight on Day 2 - 70s Disco Street Party on Royal Promenade on Day 3 at 1015 PM - The Quest game show on Day 3 at 11 PM - Love & Marriage Game show on Day 4 at 1030 PM - Midnight buffet / deck party on Day 4 - Mardi Gras Parade on Royal Promenade on Day 5 at 1045 PM Also, - Lobster is served the final night in the main dining room. - TV's (at least in the balcony cabins) are older tube style sets. - No real network programming. Only mix of news, sports, and some CBS second run shows. - Get to the Ice Show early. There will be a line to get in. - If you sail anytime in the next month, there WILL be plenty of spring breakers to contend with. That's all that comes to mind in the first pass. Feel free to ask if there's anything specific you would like to know.
lademps Posted March 19, 2010 #2 Share Posted March 19, 2010 Thanks for the info on the 5 night. Just wondering, do you recall how long the ice show lasted? Do we reserve this once onboard or just show up early and get in line? Welcome Home - sounds like you had a great time!
BGCruiser85 Posted March 19, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted March 19, 2010 I believe the ice show lasted about 40-45 minutes. We went on the first night and just showed up early. I don't believe they are doing the tickets anymore. I never saw anything in the compass indicating ticket giveaway.
