LisaL Posted March 20, 2010 #1 Share Posted March 20, 2010 We have a group of 8 going on Carnival Freedom to Cayman Island 1 day. Would it be more beneficial to rent a car and see the sights? Thoughts? Anyone do this? thanks!
m steve Posted March 20, 2010 #2 Share Posted March 20, 2010 you will need a van and they run about $100 US. Not sure of the closest location but go to website islandstylesrentals.com and they offer pick up.
ram30286 Posted March 23, 2010 #3 Share Posted March 23, 2010 We rented from Budget before, and plan on doing it again for $70+ tax for a large van. It is very easy to get around the island. I recommend Rum Point. Budget will piick you up at the Hard Rock Cafe near the tender pier.
Demonkey1 Posted March 23, 2010 #4 Share Posted March 23, 2010 We rented from Andy's Car Rental. Was recommended on here the last time we had Grand Cayman as a port of call. They were great. They pick you up at the little white church basically across the street from where the tender lets you off. We only rented a car and it was less than 50 for the day. We are thinking of renting again from them next month.
