Star Princess Suites Question

Hi:

 

Considering a cruise on the Star Princess and I am confused. Not counting the Grand Suite, are all the other categories of suite essentially the same but in different locations? Does the difference in square footage mainly come from balcony size? Which category is your favorite? The Princess website does not seem to draw much distinction between them, as they all have the same diagram and pictures.

we prefer the suites on the stern of the ship

 

especially nice for viewing when leaving port

 

but the balconies have a big post blocking part of balcony from use

 

we arent big balcony people so not a real bother to us

 

we havent been in all of them so cannot comment on comparing one suite to another

 

whichever you choose
