freeport port question

does anyone know if the port was damaged with the weather

It looks like the Norwegian Sky is in port now so I'm assuming it is fine.

thats cool hopefully they did not get to much damage thoughout the island ...... destruction sucks no matter where you are in the world

i just read a post on the ncl site that contained an article about the tornado that touched down in freeport ---it damaged 6 cranes at the port and blew out windows and did damage around lucaya

 

the article said the port would be closed for a couple of weeks -maybe that only affects shipping and not cruise ships

I also read that either 3 or 4 people were killed at the port when a crane was blown over.
