In a major city a bottle of beer at a better hotel bar would be $5-$6 a bottle plus tip. I just find that CCL's booze prices are now similar to that of a Hilton style hotel. We just plan on those costs when we plan a cruise. You can bring a bottle of wine per person onboard which is really generous. I do not believe any other cruise line offers this perk.

 

Thats great if you like wine. I can also bring a 1.75ltr bottle of Grey Goose into my room at a hilton style hotel.

6 bucks a beer is way to high, that is strip bar prices.

 

Then I would avoid the Gentlemen's Clubs in NYC. How does 15-20 bucks sound. At least that is what I have heard. ;)
