We want to book tours but do not know which port is the best for snorkling... Can anyone share their snorkling experiences in any of these ports... Thanks in advance... Sheffie Posted January 27, 2005 #2 Share Posted January 27, 2005 In Grand Cayman we booked a snorkel/sail to Sting Ray City with the Buccaneer this coming cruise. We did it thru the ship last time and had a marvelous time. I didn't know about private excursions then, and am looking forward to this smaller group and the sail over. I rate our Sting Ray encounter as one of the top 5 things I have done in my life; only the Grand Canyon and the Alps rate higher! In Costa Maya we are going to go to the ruins. We went snorkeling in Cozumel on our first cruise and had a great time, too. We are going to book a sail/snorkel here, too. You have time to do your homework. Search these boards, they are fantastic.
