Weather better for Fall or Spring Repositioning?

We are considering HAL's May 15 day repositioning cruise Ft. Lauderdale to Montreal or their 13 day October repositioning Montreal to Ft. Lauderdale.

We're wondering if one is more likely to have better weather/calmer seas than the other. Any help on what can be typically expected would be appreciated.
