Can someone please explain how this process works. Do you sign up ahead of time, do you meet somewhere, etc.

 

Also, if enerything goes fine what time might we be jumping in a cab?

We disembarked by ourselves, it was awesome and we left after a nice breakfast. THis is the only way to go. You don't have to sign up, just don't put your luggage out the night before.

Depending upon your zone you can be out 8 to 9 am

They call zones a few at a time and you have to carry all your luggage at once (with no help from porters and the such). We were out by 9:15a

Yes, we did this as well. We left our room around 815am and were out on the street in about 20 minutes. The longest part was waiting for an elevator to take you to the 3rd level.
