Vision OTS refit- What will change?

Recommended Posts

I saw a post a few weeks ago suggesting Vision of the seas will be having a refit later this year (and there is a gap in her schedule on the RCCL website).

Does anyone know what is likely to change based on previous vision class refits? I know it won't be anything like the lenghthening of Enchantment but are they likely to add new features like speciality restaurants, or will they just generally bring the existing facilities up to date? I'm sailing on her next april and would be interested to know what to expect.

Mostly external hull cleaning and painting. Perhaps make repairs to forward or aft thrusters, screws and shafts, rudders, stabilizers, etc. Below the waterline stuff. They might do some refurb work on the interior, but nothing major (like new restaurants) in a two week drydock.

The changes says coming 10/23/13. Concierge Club and Diamond Lounge. Chef's Table, Chops, and Izumi. Great changes but we'll have to wait a little while. The changes on the Deck plans shows the Handicap Accessible cabins as new categories.
