Deck 10 on Century

I read some places that it's a bad idea because of noise from above, but others say they couldn't hear a thing. I guess it depends on what room you're in, but I'm wondering what other's experiences were.

We're in 1005 - back left of the ship.

Just off the Century yesterday and had an inside room right below the buffet - between the mid-stairs and the aft-stairs (1087). We didn't hear a thing from above.

We were in the same area in February and never heard a thing from the deck above. In fact, we loved the area so much that we have booked that deck on our next cruise!

We had a room under the Spa on deck 10 and we heard high heel shoes on hardwood floors during the day when we were in our room. Nothing at night though. I have heard others say that if you are under the pool deck, you can hear them moving the chairs around at night when they are cleaning the pool deck.
