All I can say is IF you ever are offered opportunity to move to this cabin..JUMP ON IT! It is really 2 cabins in one...an OS and standard balcony that has had the common wall between them removed. Carnival staff holds back assigning in the event that someone truly has need for it...ie handicapped person as the doorways are all much bigger as is the dressing area and bathroom. If no one has booked it by about a month out, they offer it as an upsell. I originally booked a Balcony Gty and recvd my assignment at the beginning of March on Level 6. Contacted my TA and asked her to check if any upsell to OS available at reasonable rate for the 3 of us. Carnival offered her this cabin for us at a phenominal rate that I couldnt pass up!

Such a spacious room..almost 500 sq ft! The bathroom alone was bigger than my first cabin on the Norway! Course that was an inside/inside room (those of you who ever sailed her will know what I mean) but still!

I'm with Larrymeador....What was the price difference?

I know what you mean about the SS Norway, a beautiful giant ship with small cabins. It didn't bother me though cause it was big enough for me to do what my favorite thing in the cabin is.......;)

Kinda hard for us to do our favorite thing frank as our cabin had BUNK BEDS!

Cost difference for the 3 of us to move from cat 8A balcony to this OV was less than $350.00 total

Wow....that sucks on the first line but that's excellent on the second. We had from what I remember a queen but it took up most of the cabin.
