barcelona - hotels with outdoor pool?

Recommended Posts

Anyone have a recommendation for a hotel in Barcelona with a nice outdoor pool? We'll be staying one night post cruise (after having spent two nights in Barcelona precruise). We figure we'll be tired and sight-seed out and just looking to veg out by the pool. Any suggestions? Close to the airport is a plus.

Thanks!

Hi,
Where are you staying pre-cruise? We have reservation with the Brilliance pre-cruise Le Meridien (Las Rambles) but I was reading another board and didn't see much great things? Anyone have other suggestions. When I first started looking and trying to book some places wouldn't let me book one night. Trish

I was going to say the Majestic as well. I haven't been there, but the picture of the pool looks great. One caveat is that I have read that the pool is actually quite small and the pool area as well. But the view does look spectacular. Here is their website...http://www.hotelmajestic.es/eng/home.htm

Personally we have just chosen the Continental Palacete based on several reviews we have read. Of note is location, charm, intimacy, free breakfast, and 24hr complimentary snacks and drink. We are paying a little extra for one of their best rooms overlooking the boulevard. It does not however, have a pool.

Hope you enjoy the Majestic. Let us know your thoughts.

The Arts Hotel and The new Grand Marina both have swimming pools.
We love the Arts hotel..have not stayed at the Grand Marina , but have heard great reviews about it.

You will be fine at the Le Meridien.Great location, and the rooms are nice.It used to be the best hotel in Barcelona before the Arts came along. I have stayed there and would again.
